Our light gauge steel framing system can save you thousands building your own home!

Imagine assembling your new home kit in as little as 4 weeks saving up to 70% from the labor cost.

Our home kits are manufactured with Light gauge steel structural studs that can hold axial loads and lateral forces, a factory manufactured wall system and trusses that replaceses standard stick framing with solid one piece 10 foot wall sections. Our Home Kits homes are far superior to any building materials used to build homes today. Our   homes are stronger, easier to build and are more energy efficient than stick built wood homes. Structural light gauge steel kits are far superior to modular homes, and mobile homes. Our home kits can be finished to look like log homes, if you prefer, and are much easier to build. You can also use our system for almost any commercial building. Our buildings are strong, simple to build.

WHY SHOULD I BUILD WITH Eurohouse ?

Fire Resistance

Steel's resistance to fire is well known, but we cannot emphasize it too strongly. While the chances of facing a hurricane or earthquake are low in much of the country, every homeowner must guard against the threat of fire. A Steel-Kits steel framed home will help you do this because your frame will not contribute to a fire. Although given enough time and fuel virtually any home can burn, if you avoid using other flammable materials on your roof and in your walls you can greatly lower your risks.

Termites

A few things you should know:
- Over $ 1 billion is spent each year for prevention, control and repair to wood framed homes.
- Steel framing provides a termite-proof solution for the structural integrity of your project.
The most ferocious termite is the Formosan Subterranean "Super Termite". An average colony consists of about 3 million termites.

Mold

Steel does not promote the growth of mold and reduces the threat of staggering litigation. Mold requires an organic nutrient source and moisture to grow and flourish. Steel is inorganic and does not contain moisture like wood. Kiln-dried lumber still has between 11-14% residual water content. California had already passed mold-related laws, and nine other states have legislation pending.

WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF STEEL CONSTRUCTION?

The overall recycling rate of steel industry is 66%, the highest of any industry in the country, offering an environmentally sound home framing alternative.

Reduced labor costs: Our Light gauge steel framing can be erected by novice crews and do it yourself builders. Each 10 foot panel weighs less than 100 lbs, so no crane is required. Average erection time for exterior wall panels is usually half a day for a 3-man crew for the average 1500-2000 sq. ft. home.

Flexibility in design: In fact, because of steel's strength you can design your home with larger open spaces. With a steel frame, the walls will remain straight and true and can be finished with the same materials traditionally used.

Easy to finish: You easily attach any surface to our light gauge steel panels by using self drill screws or nails to which exterior and interior finishing materials can easily be attached.

Easy to wire: Punched t electrical and plumbing chases are in every stud so that the wiring of the outer walls can be easily done.

Superior strength: Steel has a superior strength in shearing to withstand seismic and hurricane forces better than any wood stick built design.

Superior Comfort: Light gauge steel homes are cleaner and maintenance free.

ABOUT LIGHT GUAGE STEEL WALL PANELS

Home steel framing is the fastest growing segment of residential new construction. Steel Kits walls and trusses save material wastes on the job site due to costly human errors, or poor material quality and eliminates the costly disposal fees associated with waste waste.

Steel-Kits walls, joists and trusses saves on labor costs by reducing the number of skilled laborers required, less builder liability and workmanship compensation insurance due to less labor costs, no lost time.

ABOUT LIGHT GUAGE STEEL ROOF TRUSS

Use of steel roof systems for residential buildings is becoming increasingly cost effective. This is due to the environmental, political, and economic pressures to use building materials other than wood. Furthermore, a decreasing trend in manufacturing cost of steel components and the reliability and efficiency in construction methods has been associated with the current interest in the steel construction.

Steel Kits walls and trusses will reduce the construction time on your project reducing costs associated with construction loans, reduce delays caused by weather and labor shortages, and predict your move-in schedule more accurately. Steel Kits allows for a guaranteed price on your framing package rather than a per lineal foot price.

COST EFFECTIVE: Steel framing is competitively priced in today's construction market. Compared to the price of wood, steel prices have remained very stable over the past decade thanks to computer-aided design and manufacturing techniques.

This chart explain the relationship between the increased cost of lumber
per 1,000 board feet and framing as an increasing cost of the
overall lumber expense for the average 2,000 square foot home.

Steel prices do not increase as the cost for board feet increases.
Also, steel is an abundant and recyclable resource and, within the last decade,
has become price competitive with lumber.
